His 2nd novel 'The death of Agastya' which deals with the aspirations and tragedy of three generations of northern Indian set up but the concern is universal. This novel is under publication process. He is an animal lover and keeps two pet dogs of exhotic breeds. Ankur is the finest human being, very humble, having a deep knowledge of world literature, history, culture and philosophy. He belives in equality of genders, religion, region, language, cast and creed. He has read thousands of books and watched thousands of epic movies, documentries and historical serials. It's always a bliss to listen to him while discussing literature, philosophy, culture, history, religion spirituality etc. He strongly believes in simplicity, ethics, morality, equality and cooperation. His mother Madhuri Anant Umranikar Jha from Pune passed away in 2016, while in service as a Russian Translator in BDL, Hyd (Ministry of Defence). She had translated many world class literary books from different foreign languages into Hindi and Marathi. She was a great linguist She had a great command over eight languages. Posthumously her translation of the world's best stories by Leo Tolstoy was published on her 1st Punyatithi. This book will remain a literary treasure for Hindi readers for all the coming generations. Still three books translated by her in Hindi and Marathi are to be published.
